Price of Love is a multi award-winning Ethiopian feature film that tells the story of a young Addis Ababa taxi driver gets caught up in the dark side of love, causing his taxi to be stolen. He finds himself stuck in a relationship with a prostitute, making him confront his past and discover what is the price of love.

It screened at Toronto International Film Festival in 2015 and went on to screen at Rotterdam, Palm Springs, Stockholm, Hamburg, Jeonju and over 50 others, where it won 11 awards.

It was subsequently licenced to Netflix and Canal+.

Exile Pictures is a production company based in London and Addis Ababa, established to produce films that deal with underrepresented stories that reach audiences beyond their own borders, the first being the multi-award winning Price of Love. We currently have a slate of projects in development.
